32nd Annual Meeting of the Society for Virology

28.03.2023–31.03.2023

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Society of Virology (GfV) which will take place in Ulm, March 28 to March 31, 2023. This meeting will be the first face-to-face meeting of the GfV since the pandemic began and after two years of either virtual or hybrid meetings, we are looking forward to welcoming you at Ulm University in-person

The 2023 Annual GfV Meeting will devote both plenary sessions and workshops to pandemics and SARS-CoV-2 research to allow everybody to obtain the latest news on these current hot topics. However, although coronavirus studies will be a leading subject, we strive for an equal representation of all research fields in virology. Furthermore, this meeting will have a focus on young scientists: the recently founded “junge GfV” will organize its own workshop during the meeting. This will be complemented by a plenary session highlighting exciting new findings made by young academics. Of course, the program will also include keynote lectures given by world-renowned national as well as international experts. Thus, we are looking forward to lively and exciting discussions between all generations and experience levels of virologists.

Join us for three full days of inspiring talks and poster presentations that provide ample opportunity for the exchange of ideas and for plenty of personal interactions.
